Q: When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer, and What was it that inspired you to start writing?
A: I began reading when I was teenager. The Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys mysteries were my favorite. As I grew older, I graduated to reading all genres, especially romance. I dappled in poetry and short stories before graduating to writing novels. With my fascination to the paranormal, I moved into that direction with my writing.

A:
I hoped to be an Accountant. I have my Bachelors Degree in accounting however over the years the lure of telling my stories became a much stronger draw than playing with numbers. |

Q: How long does it typically take you to write a book?
A: That’s a tough one, but on average about eight months. It’s gotten better since three of my children are grown. I do have a ten year old who requires quite a bit of my attention, but, she’s an author too, so we sit and write together after homework is done.

Q: Where do the ideas for your books come from?
A: Many of my ideas pop into my head as one-liners. I write them down, elaborate on the storyline…at least where I want to take it. But alas, it’s not up to me. My characters will take charge and guide me through the story. They tell me where to go.
